Note: The sensor tip should be cleaned of dirt before measuring, otherwise erroneous measurement results may occur, and with our FT 58, it is important that the protective caps are correctly fitted. If they do not “snap into place,” they may slip off the device and there may be deviations.

Battery Use: Non-rechargeable batteries have a voltage of 1.5V. Rechargeable batteries generally have a voltage of 1.2V. If using rechargeable batteries, you may therefore find they need to be replaced more frequently.
